Japan Ground Self-Defense Force members prepare to patrol towards their mission objective Mar. 11, at Kin Blue, Okinawa, Japan. Upon landing on the beach, the JGSDF members changed out of their wet clothes in order to patrol through the jungle. The JGSDF observed U.S. Marines with 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, conducting raid missions, amphibious training and scout swimmer classes.
