A memorial service in honor of Crystal Hamilton, 29, was hosted March 15 at the Memorial Chapel Marine Corps Base Quantico. Hamilton was killed Feb. 27 during a domestic dispute in Prince William County. The native of Charleston, South Carolina is survived by her 11-year-old son. Family, friends and leadership of the Wounded Warrior Battalion at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, where she worked as a recovery care coordinator, were among the hundreds in attendance. The vigil was officiated by base Chaplain (Commander) Jeff Etheridge.
