Baxter and Smith met through mutual friends who all played softball together around the start of their high school years. Later, they ended up playing for the same senior-level baseball travel team, despite them belonging to rival high schools. The Glazier Clinic was designed for high school football coaches to learn and develop so they can better train their athletes.
