The Hugo V. Mendoza Soldier Family Care Center, the largest outpatient clinic on Fort Bliss, Texas, and one of the largest in the Department of Defense, provides care to almost 35,000 beneficiaries serving Soldiers, families and retirees in the El Paso Community. In 2012 the clinic was renamed in honor of Hugo V. Mendoza, an El Paso native, for his dedication to profession as a combat medic during Operation Enduring Freedom.
