Chief Petty Officer Martiano Magana, Full Time Support Yeoman detailer assigned to Navy Personnel Command, addresses enlisted personnel assigned to Navy Operation Support Center Fort Worth during a two-day "admin" conference at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth. Magana, along with Chief Petty Officer Michael P. Wallace, FTS Personnel Specialist/Navy Counselor detailer, and Senior Chief Petty Officer Dewayne L. Lynch, FTS Enlisted Community Manager assigned to the Bureau of Personnel, teamed up to brief Fort Worth FTS personnel in administrative rates. They covered detailing and the job assignment process, gave advice on communicating with the chain of command and Navy Counselor, and emphasized important career tools such as Perform To Serve and Career Management System/Interactive Detailing. "Our job is to make sure everyone gets important information they need to know and to solicit feedback from the field," said Wallace. "Getting to talk face-to-face with the people I detail and hearing what they have to say is the most rewarding part for me."
