    Chief Petty Officer Alicia L. Hutton (right), assigned to Reserve unit USS Emory S. Land, explains the field service record elimination process to Seaman Lynette M. Sessoms (left), a Reservist assigned to Navy Operational Support Center Support Unit. Hutton and Sessoms are assisting the NOSC Fort Worth personnel department to purge nearly 1,000 Reserve field service records maintained by NOSC as the Navy transitions to the Electronic Service Record. The Reserve support team will comb through individual FSRs to pull out essential documents such as enlistment and military processing records and current performance evaluations. Navy Personnel Command will post these documents in each member's Official Military Personnel File. Individual FSR contents will eventually be returned to each service member.
