FORT BRAGG, N.C. - 2nd Lt. Laura Penley, of the 3rd Battalion, 321st Field Artillery Regiment, prepares a 9-line medevac request on March 17. One of the events in the LTs Carloss-Eddy-Randall competition for the 18th Field Artillery Brigade was a 10-kilometer road march with warrior tasks competency lanes in the early morning hours of the second day of the competition. The competency lanes included evaluating and transporting a casualty for medical evacuation, assembling radios for a communications check, and disassembling and reassembling the M240B and M249 machine guns.
