Young, organically raised chickens explore the back of a pick-up truck prior to being relocated into a newly built chicken pen on the "HalfAcre Farm", tended by Joe Villines, an Army Sgt. with the U.S. Army Reserve, in Cummings, Iowa, March 18, 2016. Villines manages to find the balance between his military obligations, his civilian career with the Department of Veterans affairs, fatherhood, and a growing passion in rural farming.
