U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers with the 399th Combat Support Hospital, 804th Medical Brigade, 3d Medical Command (Deployment Support), performs a physical assessment on a simulated casualty during an exercise held April 2, 2016 at the Mayo Clinic Multidisciplinary Simulation Center in Rochester, Minnesota. During the exercise, the unit implemented the Team Strategies and Tools to Enhance Performance and Patient Safety, or TeamSTEPPS, model of patient care. The model serves as a framework to optimize team performance across the health care delivery system.
