Lincoln Fire and Rescue and 9-1-1 Emergency dispatchers respond to a call during a major accident response exercise hosted by the Lincoln Airport and the Nebraska National Guard. Members of the Nebraska Air and Army National Guard collaborated with multiple key community and state agencies during a major accident response exercise at the 155th Air Refueling Wing in preparation for the U.S. Navy Blue Angels arrival at the "Guardians of Freedom" air show, showcasing May 7-8. The purpose of the exercise is to establish interagency communication and familiarize civilian and military organizations to work together in a crisis.
