The Soldiers – serving with A Company, 2nd Battalion, 198th Combined Arms, 155th Brigade Combat Team, out of Hernando, Miss., the Q-West force protection company – were conducting a security escort mission to the Tigris River pump house that supplies water to Q-West. A Company recently solicited from home gifts of clothing, linen, toys, school supplies and other items to give Abrahim and his family, whom they befriended during their many visits to the pump house.
