U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Sean Ellis, 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment CH-47 Chinook pilot, prepares for a firefighting mission in the Darién province of Panama, April 17, 2016. Ellis was one of approximately 25 Joint Task Force-Bravo members sent to Panama to help with the firefighting efforts against the fires, which are believed to have started April 4 and grew exponentially, prompting the Government of Panama, via the U.S. Embassy in Panama, to request an aerial support package from JTF-Bravo.
