A forested area of the Darién province of Panama burns during a wildfire, April 17, 2016. This was one of many fires, which are believed to have started April 4, that grew exponentially, prompting the Government of Panama, via the U.S. Embassy in Panama, to request an aerial support package from Joint Task Force-Bravo consisting of aircraft from the 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment, Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, to help contain the blazes. The JTF-Bravo air assets supplemented a Panamanian UH-1N Huey in the firefighting efforts. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Siuta B. Ika)
