Soldiers from Multinational Battle Group-East participate in a timed 1000-meter run on Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo, March 27. The run was one of three events performed by the Soldiers during the fitness test portion of the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge competition. To earn the coveted badge the Soldiers must complete a 100-meter swim in uniform, a German physical fitness test, weapons qualification, and a timed road march. (U.S. Army photos by: Staff Sgt.
