Marines and Okinawa residents navigate muddy slopes and obstacles during the annual Camp Hansen Mud Run April 24 aboard Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. The annual race is one of the quarterly open gate days aboard Camp Hansen that brought Status of Forces Agreement personnel and Okinawa residents together through food, fellowship and physical activity During the event, attendees ran three, five and 10 kilometer cross-country style courses and navigated their way through muddy and hilly obstacles. Participants received various awards as they crossed the finish line such as t-shirts, towels and medals.
