A MV-22B Osprey glides over the flight line prior to the 2016 Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point Air Show – “Celebrating 75 Years” at MCAS Cherry Point, N.C., April 29, 2016. With the speed and range of a turboprop, the maneuverability of a helicopter and the ability to carry 24 Marine combat troops twice as fast and five times farther than previous helicopters, the Osprey greatly enhances the advantages Marines have over their enemies. The air show features dozens of acts to include pyrotechnics, static displays, and a kids zone. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. N.W. Huertas/ Released)
