An arsenal of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) testing instruments is maintained at the McAfee U.S. Army Health and Dental Clinic in case the clinic’s Emergency Response Team is activated to respond to CBRN incidents at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, March 28. The clinic is responsible for providing medical care in support of the Nuclear Accident or Incident Response and Assistance (NAIRA) because of the U.S. Army’s sole fast-blast nuclear reactor located at WSMR.
