A vacuum-sealed decontamination room lined with showers is located at the McAfee U.S. Army Health and Dental Clinic in order to decontaminate personnel with the clinic’s Emergency Response Team in case of response to CBRN incidents at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, March 28. The clinic is responsible for providing medical care in support of the Nuclear Accident or Incident Response and Assistance (NAIRA) because of the U.S. Army’s sole fast-blast nuclear reactor located at WSMR.
