Lane, a Maintenance Technician, 4th Combat Camera Squadron, March ARB, Calif., admires a Women Air Force Service Pilots poster that Lane just had autographed by three WASP at the WASP exhibit booth on Feb. 27 during the Women in Aviation International 2010 conference in Orlando, Florida. The WASP were the first ever women pilots and aircraft maintainers, paving the way for women in aviation. The purpose of the yearly conference is to encourage the personal development of women interested in the aviation field or currently in the field through educational seminars, mentoring and networking of both civilians and military members.
