60th Civil Engineer Squadron pavement and equipment operators work March 5 toimprove safety conditions in the parking lotof Bldg. 243 at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. The goal is to make it easier for employees to get to their workplace at the at the United States Air Force Telephone Operator Consolidated Call Center-West, said Tech .Sgt. Brent Spotts, NCO in charge. Spotts said relocating the dumpsters and moving back an existing curb will ease access for the workers, who are sight impaired or may have other physical disabilities. When finished, the parking lot will not only meet Americans With Disability Act requirements, but leave more space for taxi pickup and delivery, as well as space for larger service vehicles.
