Approximately 250 Marines and Sailors from CLB-22 deployed to Haiti to provide humanitarian assistance and disaster relief to help alleviate the suffering of the people of Haiti after the horrific earthquake that struck Jan. 12. "It was an experience I'll never forget," said Lance Cpl. Shane P. Connors, a weapons armorer with CLB-22. "I'm very grateful for the opportunity, and I think it shows the Marine Corps is not just a fighting force, but there to help people."
