PACIFIC OCEAN (May 11, 2016) – The guided-missile destroyer USS Decatur (DDG 73) prepares to pull alongside the Military Sealift Command dry cargo ship USNS Carl Brashear (T-AKE 7) during a replenishment-at-sea. Decatur, along with destroyers USS Momsen (DDG 92) and USS Spruance (DDG 111), with embarked “Devil Fish” and “Warbirds” detachments of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 49, deployed as part of a U.S. 3rd Fleet Pacific Surface Action Group (PAC SAG) under Destroyer Squadron (CDS) 31.
