German service members walk to lay a wreath at the memorial dedicated to Kenneth Moore and Robert Wright June 4, 2016, in Angoville-au-Plain, France. As medics with the 101st Airborne Division during World War II, Moore and Wright provided medical care to 80 combatants, including German soldiers, and one child in June 1944 at the Angoville-au-Plain church (seen in back). Their only stipulation to providing care was that weapons be left outside so as not to compromise the church's status as a noncombatant facility. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Timothy Moore)
