First Sgt. Robert Lieske of Troop B, 3rd Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, pulls security while his medics prepare to load a "notionally wounded" paratrooper onto a waiting helicopter to be medically evacuated during a training exercise at the Joint Readiness Training Center, Fort Polk, La., May 2009. Incorporating a real helicopter into the notional training made it much more realistic, said medics.
