    Pierce County Chief of Corrections Patti Jackson points out some information to Capt. Mike Nelson, commander of the Washington Air National Guard’s 194th Security Forces Squadron (SFS), while at the Pierce County Jail in Tacoma, Wash. during the second day of exercise Cascadia Rising 2016 on June 8, 2016. The 194th SFS was at the jail to assess potential issues in providing security should the building suffer a breach during an earthquake. Cascadia Rising 2016 is a full-scale exercise involving more than 100 federal, state, county and city agencies designed to test the state's earthquake response plan in the event of a Cascadia Subduction Zone event.
