Pierce County Chief of Corrections Patti Jackson answers a question posed by Staff Sgt. David Dunlap, an augmentee with the Washington Air National Guard’s 194th Security Forces Squadron (SFS), at the Pierce County Jail in Tacoma, Wash. during the second day of exercise Cascadia Rising 2016 on June 8, 2016. The 194th SFS was at the jail to assess potential issues in providing security should the building suffer a breach during an earthquake. Cascadia Rising 2016 is a full-scale exercise involving more than 100 federal, state, county and city agencies designed to test the state's earthquake response plan in the event of a Cascadia Subduction Zone event.
