National Guardsmen assigned to the Oregon and Kentucky National Guard's CBRNE Enhanced Responce Force Package (CERFP) Search Recovery and Extraction Team roll a non-ambulatory patient through the final phase of the decontamination process before sending her to a field hospital during the Cascadia Rising exercise June 8, 2016, at Camp Rilea, Oregon. Cascadia Rising simulates a 9.0-magnitude earthquake along the Cascadia Subduction Zone, which tests the Oregon and Kentucky National Guard’s ability to work alongside local, state and federal first responders and public safety officials during a disaster response effort. The Kentucky Soldiers are assigned to units of the 103rd Chemical Battalion. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Sgt. 1st Class Gina Vaile-Nelson, KYARNG/Released)
