160614-N-NF288-132 WATERS SOUTH OF JAPAN (June 14, 2016) An MH-60S Sea Hawk assigned to the “Golden Falcons” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 12 flies off the port side of the Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during flight operations. The MH-60S Sea Hawk is used for a variety of tasks including anti-surface warfare, combat search and rescue, drug interdiction, and anti-piracy operations. The USS Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group is on patrol in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
