Lt. Col. Dewey Granger (left), the governor for Multi-National Division – Baghdad's Camp Liberty and commander of 1st Battery, 12th Field Artillery Regiment, 17th Field Artillery Brigade, based out of Fort Sill, Okla., and Command Sgt. Maj. Lynn Baker, Camp Liberty noncommissioned officer-in-charge and command sergeant major of 1-12 FA, cut the ribbon July 15 during a grand opening ceremony for the Camp Liberty Field House, an indoor gymnasium boasting hardwood flooring, a full-sized basketball court, a digital scoreboard and air conditioning among its features. The 17th FA was largely responsible for providing the new structure for Soldiers' use and benefit.
