Kentucky National Guard Sgt. Ryan Stull and Spc. Patrick Noell, medics assigned to the KY-CERFP, work a trauma code on a HAL Mobile Team Trainer June 8, 2016, at Camp Rilea, Oregon, as part of Cascadia Rising. The exercise was part of Operation Cascadia Rising, in which National Guardsmen from Oregon, Kentucky, Idaho and Utah worked side-by-side with other local, state, regional and national government agencies and non-government agencies to test their disaster preparedness and response. Medical professionals from the Army and Air Guard joined the State Emergency Registry of Volunteers- Oregon, to share best practices for trauma care.
