U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Isaac Mayo, begins the docking process at Montego Bay, Jamaica in preparation for Tradewinds 2016 on June 18, 2016. Tradewinds provides the opportunity for participating nations to improve interoperability and effectively execute future maritime operations, to include humanitarian assistance and disaster response. The maritime portion of the exercise focuses on building participating nation capacity of the Caribbean Community’s maritime forces in maritime related security operations in cooperation with U.S., British, Mexican and Canadian Forces.
