FORT HOOD, Texas-- Staff Sgt. Nathan Carter, a crew chief with the national Guard's 77th Combat Aviation Brigade headquartered in Arkansas, is turned upside down in the water to simulate a submerged airframe during water survival training at Fort Hood June 17. The 77th is training at Fort Hood for an upcoming deployment in support of contingency operations.
