160627-N-KH151-090 PHILIPPINE SEA (June 27, 2016) The Military Sealift Command (MSC) fleet replenishment oiler USNS Tippecanoe (T-AO 199) approaches the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) to deliver fuel. More than 90 percent of all supplies and equipment needed by the U.S. military in wartime is transported by ships like Tippecanoe. The USS Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group is on patrol in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
