Andrew Grantham, assigned to the U.S. Coast Guard International Training Division, assigned to Africa Partnership Station West, embarked aboard the Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock-landing ship USS Gunston Hall, talks to media about the small boat operations training taught during APS aboard the ship during a media availability day. Gunston Hall is on a scheduled deployment in West Africa in support of APS West, an international initiative developed by Naval Forces Europe and Naval Forces Africa that aims to improve maritime safety and security in West and Central Africa.
