PACIFIC OCEAN (June 27, 2016) – Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) Airman Nohemi Cervantes Mendoza, from Yuma, Arizona, directs an F/A-18E Super Hornet assigned to the Tophatters of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 14 on USS John C. Stennis' (CVN 74) flight deck during routine flight operations. Providing a combat-ready force to protect collective maritime interests, John C. Stennis is operating as part of the Great Green Fleet on a regularly scheduled Western Pacific deployment.
