160707-N-BB534-506 Ligao City, Philippines (July 7, 2016) Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Jake Delosreyes (left) and Rody Bisco, a biomedical technician at Josefina Belmonte Duran Memorial District Hospital, work together to repair equipment during a Pacific Partnership 2016 subject matter expert exchange. During the exchange, Pacific Partnership personnel attached to Mercy and members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines worked with hospital staff to enhance medical knowledge and increase patient-based care. Pacific Partnership is visiting the Philippines for the seventh time since its first visit in 2006. Partner nations are working side-by-side with local military and non-government organizations to conduct cooperative health engagements, community relation events and subject matter expert exchanges to better prepare for a natural disaster or crisis.
