(June 11, 2016) - Huntington Ingalls Shipyard workers disconnect the aft vacuum collection holding and transfer hose from the ship in preparation for Pre-Commissioning Unit Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) turn ship evolution. Turn ship is a major milestone for Ford, bringing it one step closer to becoming fully operational.
