Recruits from Fox Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, conduct bayonet techniques during a Marine Corps Martial Arts Program class at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, July 13. The recruits learned different offensive and defensive techniques that included strikes and blocks Marines use when faced with enemies in combat situations. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Fox Company is scheduled to graduate Sept. 23.
