160721-N-XK809-010 SASEBO, Japan (July 21, 2016) - Japanese contractors move an 11 meter rigid hull inflatable boat (RHIB) alongside amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) in preparation for boat operations. Bonnhomme Richard is currently completing a ship’s restricted availability (SRA) and preparing for an upcoming patrol. Bonhomme Richard is the lead ship of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group and is forward-deployed in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operation.
