160721-N-XK809-0043 SASEBO, Japan (July 21, 2016) - Boatswain's Mate Seaman Kris Brown, assigned to amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), operates an 11 meter rigid hull inflatable boat (RHIB) during RHIB operations. Bonnhomme Richard is currently completing a ship’s restricted availability (SRA) and preparing for an upcoming patrol. Bonhomme Richard is the lead ship of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group and is forward-deployed in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operation.
