FOB KALSU, Iraq – Soldiers from Company B, 2nd Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, conduct Operation River Falcon July 25 in Sayifiyah. The operation was aimed at terrorists using the town as a safe haven and coordinating attacks against Coalition and Iraqi Security Forces. The three-day mission allowed Soldiers an opportunity to meet the local residents and assure them the town would not continue as a place of sanctuary for terrorists.
