Staff Sgt. Mitchell Burke, 332nd Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron weather forecaster, attaches and fastens the radar to mast during the assembly of a new radar mast at Joint Base Balad, April 21. The radar mast elevates the receiver to an operating height free from building interference that could block the signal. Burke is a native of Montpelier, Vt., and is deployed from Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
