The 60th Logistic Readiness Squadron Fuels Management Flight, Travis AFB Calif., is responsible for maintaining the Cryogenic Storage Area, June 10, 2016. The tanks hold super cooled liquid oxygen, primarily used as aviator breathing oxygen and to inflate tires, and liquid nitrogen, used for fire suppression and fuel tank inerting. The nitrogen replaces air in the fuel tank so that if there is an accident, there is no oxygen in the tank to cause a fire. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Heide Couch)
