Specialized plastic bags designed to catch Aqueous Film Forming Foam from overhead sprinkler systems hang above a Sailor as he passes before a hangar bay door aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. AFFF sprinklers are tested regularly as a means of ensuring the ability to extinguish a fire. Ronald Reagan is currently performing a mock at sea trial in preparation for upcoming sea operations.
