Specialized plastic bags, designed to catch Aqueous Film Forming Foam coming from the sprinkler systems, dangle above a Sailor as he passes before a hangar bay door aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. AFFF sprinklers are tested regularly as a means of ensuring their ability to extinguish a fire. Ronald Reagan is currently performing a mock at sea trial in preparation for upcoming deployments.
