(Aug. 17, 2016) - Aviation Electronics Technician Operator Chief select Adam Erickson, assigned to Naval Air Station (NAS) Whidbey Island (VAQ129), Wash., Missile Technician Chief select Dennis Silverio from Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC), and Culinary Specialist Chief select James Dorce, of Naval Station Everett, Wash., team up to chip paint for the USS Turner Joy repainting. USS Turner Joy Chief Petty Officer Legacy Academy gives recent chief selectees the privilege of attending as Class 008.
