WATERS SOUTH OF JAPAN (Aug. 29, 2016) Crash and Salvage team members position an aircraft dolly to simulate moving a crashed aircraft during a landing gear failure drill aboard the USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The aircraft dolly allows quick removal of damaged aircraft, so flight operations can resume as soon as possible. Ronald Reagan provides a combat-ready force, which protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
