PACIFIC OCEAN – U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Malcom Walker, a radio operator with Headquarters Company, Task Force Koa Moana 16-4, lifts a log during physical training aboard the USNS Pililaau (T-AKR 304) Aug. 25, 2016. The exercise was part of a Marine Corps Martial Arts Program course in order to show that hardships and overcoming obstacles as a team helps achieve mission accomplishment. Koa Moana seeks to enhance senior military leader engagements between allied and partner nations with a collective intent in military-to-military relations, as well as discuss key aspects of military operations, capability development, and interoperability.
