Cpl. Joshua McGirl, a landing support specialist with Combat Logistics Battalion 6, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward), receives a congratulatory handshake from 1st Sgt. Raquel Painter, company first sergeant, Headquarters and Support Company, CLB-6, 1st MLG (FWD), during a promotion and awards ceremony here June 2. McGirl, a native of Loveland, Colo., was meritoriously promoted to his current rank in recognition of his dedication to duty and continued drive for excellence. McGirl was recently named "Marine of the Quarter" at the company, battalion and group levels.
