First Sgt. Raquel Painter, company first sergeant, Headquarters and Support Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 6, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward) recites the promotion warrant of Cpl. Joshua McGirl, a landing support specialist with CLB-6, 1st MLG (FWD), during a promotion and awards ceremony here June 2. McGirl, a native of Loveland, Colo., was meritoriously promoted to his current rank in recognition of his dedication to duty and continued drive for excellence. McGirl was recently named "Marine of the Quarter" at the company, battalion and group levels.
